no thats from the fliywheel m8. the torqe you shud be looking for is from the drive wheels them self. i just fitted a turbo on my bmw 328. the thing is is that car is literaly a death trap.

The car has so much torque that the back spins every time he is changing gears! Wow a very nice professionally built car. I am a benz fan but I have respect for other well built cars.
Respect,

I know the difference between Ft-lbs and Nm. And I know that none of the BMW gearboxes could handle a 3000+Nm torque. Audi Q7 has biiig gearbox and it has problems with 1000Nm of torque... now look how big are gearboxes in trucks which do have something between 2300 and 3000 Nm. Those truck boxes and clutches are so heavy they need to be pneumatically operated and they weight about 700kg. This 3000+ Nm torque in that beemer is just bullshit. It ain't top fuel dragster for fuck's sake!

ok, how did you get over 3000NM over 720bhp? Pretty sick car, thats 4 sure, but I was wondering what song is played at 3:10? Awsome video!

obviously you've never beheld the glory of a beefed-up BMW straight-6. anyway, you might be thinking of Ft-Lbs, Nm are different

Yeah AC/DC!!!
TransAmDrifter on November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am
?!?!?! the torque meter is weird... only trucks have something about 3000Nm of torque. It's impossible to reach such torque from this engine... especially if it's gas-powered. |
