Oh yeah, that´s correct! The only negative side, culturaly speaking, is the food. Didn´t like that at all. Italian food is much better.lol.

Don't get me wrong, I think some good things have come out of Britain.

By the way, Britain has done something very interesting over the years. It has absorved the american culture so deep, that even made it better. British musicians made rock sound better, british actors/authors made Hollywood better etc... That´s something for you to think about your country first, before judging it. Cheers mate.

Well, what are we anyway? Everybody who was born after WWII are a subproduct of the american pop culture, no matter where they were born? I guess those questions aren´t totally correct, after all, how many of us really have a blast when smoking a pack of Marlboros (feeling like a tough bloke) and a glass of cold Classic Coke? Some people in the world does not get satisfied by only doing that for life. It´s like Jim Morinson´s music (When the music is over): We want the world and we want it, now!

Maybe that 'is' themselves.
I'm British and I genuinley prefer the American culture and lifestyle over the UK's. Not because I'm trying to be American, it's just because this is genuinley who I am, this 'is' me being myself.

Ok, forget what I said, maybe I´m wrong after all. It´s so much american culture, some people get overdosed by it, and begin to snap sometimes. I myself want to know more about the nordic culture, and the more I know about it, the more I see they´re into american things. The same thing happened to the post WWII Japan, and the actual China. Their cultures are vanishing, try to think about for a while. |
