check the factory service manual for the 350z, something might be different... let us know how it turns out for you.

Are your rotors aftermarket? I can't seem to move those much either. It feels like theres something keeping the pads from getting pulled out. I did everything else done in your video. I got oem brembos from an 03 350z so we should have the same brakes.

You should be able to just pull them out side to side. Make sure you followed all the other preliminary stept.

FIrst off thanks for the video. Anyway, i did everything that was done in the vid. but im unable to get the oem brake pads off. DId i miss something? It feels like there's something holding it in place. But in the video you were able to just pull it out. THanks!

It's the brake grease that came with the new pads. It should be applied to prevent brake squeal.

Thanks for the video. Those calipers are identical to the brembo's on my 2004 volvo V70R - except for there's no cotter pins.

Brake cleaner would damage the painted caliper surface :( In any case, this was just my friend's quick dirty way to swap out his pads; purely informational.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just use brake cleaner instead of trying to wipe them off with a paper towel?
